Privacy Policy

What this site collects, what it avoids and the choices you have.

Privacy at a glance

And You? works without an account and does not submit your tool answers to our application server. The interactive tools use JavaScript in the active browser page. A separate, optional notification advertising service is described below.

Information processed when you visit

Like most websites, the hosting server may receive an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device information, referring origin and response status. This operational information is used to deliver pages, diagnose failures, prevent abuse and protect the service.

Information you choose to send

The site has no user accounts, comment system or active newsletter form. If you email hello@and.you, the message, address and any information you include are processed so the editorial team can respond, investigate a correction or handle an accessibility request. Do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for the request.

Browser tools and sharing

Question choices and generated prompts remain in the current page unless you choose to copy or share them. A share button uses your device's share feature when available; otherwise the site copies the displayed text and clean page link for you. WhatsApp and email links open the selected external service only after you activate them. The tools do not save entries to MySQL, the Docs Library or an And You? profile.

RollerAds notification service

After an initial visit, the site may load the RollerAds push-notification SDK from sdk4push.com. RollerAds may receive network and browser information, including an IP address, browser or device details, notification permission and subscription information, storage identifiers and a campaign click identifier when one is present in the page URL. The service can ask for browser notification permission and, only if permission is granted, deliver advertising notifications. Read the RollerAds privacy policy and our cookie and browser-storage explanation.

Your notification choice

You can decline the browser permission request. If you previously allowed notifications, use your browser or device settings to revoke permission and remove the subscription. Clearing site data removes the local return-visit marker, although browser notification permission may need to be changed separately.

Editorial and publishing systems

MySQL stores published and scheduled article content, slugs, images and publication metadata. The Docs Library integration transfers editorial articles to this site through a server-to-server process. These systems are for publishing and do not receive answers entered into the public browser tools.

External links

Some pages link to research papers, standards, messaging services and other websites. Those services receive information under their own policies when you follow or activate the relevant link. The RollerAds SDK is the exception because it may load automatically on a return visit as described above.

Retention and security

Operational logs and correspondence are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security, reliability, recordkeeping or responding to the request, subject to legal obligations. RollerAds controls its own retention practices. Reasonable technical controls are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may browse without registering. You can choose not to email, share, follow an external link, copy a result or allow notifications. To ask about information you deliberately sent to And You?, use the contact and corrections page. Requests about RollerAds processing should also be directed through the contact method in its privacy policy. Applicable law may provide additional rights and exceptions.

Children and changes

The site is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect profiles or tool entries from children. Material privacy changes are recorded in the editorial update log.
