Advertising and Independence

How commercial relationships are separated from editorial decisions.

Editorial independence from commercial influence

Commercial support does not determine what we cover, how we describe it or where an editorial link points. The editorial policy explains how sources, corrections and publishing decisions are handled.

Editorial links must earn their place

An editorial link is selected because it helps the reader verify a claim or take a useful next step. Payment cannot convert an unrelated or low-value destination into editorial guidance. Our source and claim standard explains what counts as support for an editorial statement.

RollerAds push notifications

And You? uses RollerAds to offer optional advertising notifications to returning visitors. The browser asks for permission before a subscription is created. A notification and the page it opens are advertising, not an And You? editorial recommendation. You can decline the request or revoke permission through your browser or device settings. The privacy policy explains the related data flow.

Clear separation from editorial content

Commercial notifications do not change article selection, wording, rankings or internal links. We do not sell followed editorial links or disguise paid pages as independent guides. Future sponsorships or affiliate relationships will be identified in plain English near the relevant material.

No site reputation abuse

Third parties cannot publish unrelated material under our domain to benefit from the site's reputation. Every indexed page must serve the site's stated focus.
